Its 8:16pm in Sweifieh and its raining cats and
dogs, labaneh sandwiches, oppressive messages from society, parents and
the state, text messages from best friends, boyfriends and girlfriends,
schoolbooks, cream filled ras al3bed and lopsided vernacular clichés.
Four actors, a Director, an Assistant director and Stage Manager from
Jordan, Palestine, and Lebanon come together in
a series of impassioned improvisations about what it means to be young and alive in the city today. In the process, they unleash a flurry of everyday urban language, but the results are not at all ordinary.
